It’s time for another ‘epic’ Shimmy For The Soul Belly Dance Hafla Show & Workshop featuring awesome belly dancers from throughout BC … it’s going to be an amazing show with some surprises in store in a new  venue with seating capacity of 200++ so tell your friends, bring your family and get ready to celebrate our passion!  This year’s workshop features a never before seen curriculum from Tamara Dewar – space is limited and details are below:

LEVEL UP WITH TAMARA DEWAR! - Taking your dance to the next level!

You've got the skills, you've taken the classes. Now What? Whether performing at a student show, restaurant hafla, or on stage in front of hundreds of people it’s the little things that make the difference. This workshop will touch on some of those "little things" that will help elevate your dance. Hands, arms, facial expressions, posture and dance moods are some of the topics that will be covered in this workshop accessible to all levels of dancers. For anyone who already performs, who is thinking of performing for the first time, or who wants to be a better dancer, this is the workshop for you. It’s all in the details.

TAMARA DEWAR is a professional modern Egyptian instructor, performer and choreographer based in Vancouver BC with over 15 years of experience in Oriental Dance.  Her style is rooted deeply in traditional forms and movements to which she brings a modernist charisma and bold innovation.
